SCEND are officially a B Corp!
This is a fantastic achievement which is representative of all of the hard work and commitment that everyone here at SCEND has when it comes to consistent and meaningful changes and improvements. We are determined to level-up our fulfilment efforts and offerings to pave the way for innovative post-purchase solutions which marry being cost-effective with providing high-quality, human-led processes. Leaving you and your customers completely satisfied with your post-purchase experience.
Paving the way for other e-commerce fulfilment providers, we have propelled ourselves to the next level with our commitment and dedication to environmental, social, and economic practices. Working to solidify our business practices throughout 2024, we were keen to reach such an outstanding milestone, which would see us take accountability for the footprint we leave behind.
Since the company's inception in 2017, we have continued to strive for greatness and with ISO accreditations recently under our belt, the next milestone was to become a B Corp. So much more than just another certificate, being a B Corp means that we have met stringent criteria surrounding:

What is a B Corp?
A B Corp often refers to a business that holds a specific certification, which is awarded by B Lab.
B Lab is an international body, however, each country holds its own criteria based on current and relevant social and economic practices. B Lab works with businesses to ensure that they are meeting specific criteria, which goes towards building trust, ensuring ethical, environmental and economic practices are consistently being upheld.
The B Corp Certification is a highly regarded and prestigious certificate that businesses work towards for years. This designation demonstrates that a business is meeting all areas of a stringent criteria, including but not limited to verified performance, accountability, and transparency on factors from employee benefits and charitable giving to supply chain practices and input materials.
Why did we do it?
Here at SCEND, we are always striving to achieve more, led by a team of logistics enthusiasts. SCEND are consistently looking to improve the world of fulfilment. One package at a time. Since our inception, we have endeavoured to ensure that we operate adhering to best practice in every aspect of the fulfilment process. That is why over the years we have continued to improve our environmental practices, technological advances and establishing a healthy working environment for all of our staff.
Becoming a B Corp wasn’t about status, it was about being the best for our clients, their customers and our staff! Having the B Corp certification allows us to reinforce this commitment by holding ourselves accountable for the decisions we make as we continue our pursuit of responsible growth.

What changes can we expect now that SCEND is a B Corp?
Whether you’re looking for a 3PL, or are an existing customer you might be curious as to what exactly is going to change now that SCEND are officially B Corp Certified. And the quick answer is absolutely nothing. Though SCEND now officially have the prestigious designation, the values and principles behind the certification have been embedded into our business for a long time. That means that if you're already a client, you won't see any immediate changes; however, as we continue to operate and grow, you will see continued improvement to our practices. Making us a better, more conscious and ethical partner.
